Maria Bartiromo was the first American journalist to broadcast live on the New York Stock Exchange. She is the host of several highly acclaimed programs under her belt. A veteran journalist with two decades experience covering business and economies, Bartiromo was instrumental in placing CNBC among the best in its business and economic segment. Highly successful as a journalist, her work proves she always had the potential to be a journalist in this field. When she was a teenager Maria was unable to determine what profession she would pursue. At one point she wanted to be a singer the next day and an interior designer. After discovering the joys of journalism, she never turned around. She's not only a great journalist, she's also a role-model to other women who are trying to be successful in a men-dominated field. As well as being named one of the fifty people who shaped the decade, she was the first journalist of female descent to ever be inducted into Cable Hall of Fame. Apart from being an author, columnist and broadcaster, Ms. Ayala also works as an independent journalist.
Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn (born Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn) is an American actor working in both film, television and theater. She's been an professional actor for over 27 years. Her stage debut was in 1990, when she performed an Off Broadway production of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. In The Perfect Tribute, she had her debut TV role one year later. In 1992, she received her first big break when she was cast in Basic Instinct as a minor character. It was in the movie The Firm however that she was chosen as the woman leading the film for just the very first time, and this was also against famous actors such as Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. The 90s saw her working alongside some of the top actors in Hollywood, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Hugh Grant. In the most recent episode, she played her character as Alex Blake, Dr. Alex Blake in Criminal Minds.
