Andressa Urach
Andressa Urach, who was then 15 years of age, began with Tiago Costa. They moved in together after three months. Arthur Urach Costa was born in the month of May, 2005. They split in the middle of their six-year marriage because of differences. Andressa was then relocated to her mother's house with the child. After six months, Urach quit her job and had to leave her child in the custody of her father. Her primary goal was to find a better life for her son and a better life in Sao Paulo. Andressa Urach claims in her book Morri Para Viver that she was abused sexually at a young age by her foster grandfather. Andressa was able to conquer all issues because her foster grandmother witnessed the incident and allowed her to stay at her house. Her mother was not conscious of the abuse she suffered until Andressa published her book. The woman's interviews revealed that it had been difficult for her prior to her change of heart. Forgiveness of her victim was something she believed to be impossible to achieve. One of the hardest decisions of my life I called the man who abused me sexually. The decision wasn't easy. After much prayer vows and fasting, I told my husband over the phone that I forgive him, and although I wasn't in any way guilty, I did ask him for forgiveness. My request for forgiveness was not justified. Mariste Urach in an article for Globo, describes her story of what she did when she first learned about her daughter's sexual harassment. An interview on Globo Mariste Urach explains her reaction when she found out about the harassment suffered through her son.
